Even though some material is old, a good portion of it is still relevant.
A lot of Travis' material is very outdated. Some videos are from 2016 and can't really be used. The whole Google Adwords course is outdated since Google rebranded to Google Ads.
The content included in all four courses is pretty superficial, there doesn't seem to be a lot of depth in the topics he talks about and frankly, there are a lot of free alternatives that you could use to learn everything Travis teaches here.

Travis Marziani has been around the eCommerce teaching activity for years. You just need to google his name to learn some tips about buying or selling through different platforms on the internet. And also you will find that he offers some courses for every interested people but, do they really work?
Effective eCommerce is a series of four courses that make up for hours of study material for those who need to learn about several topics that range from store design to Mobile marketing, using social media, merchant services, and even tax tips.

Who is Effective eCommerce for?
These courses are for everyone and anyone interested in starting an online business or store, specifically those who have no previous knowledge on how to set up everything to begin, and people who want to learn all the necessary tools to improve their existing store and market their products.
Who is Travis Marziani, The Founder of Effective eCommerce?
Travis is an entrepreneur who stopped working a full-time job in 2013 to start his first e-commerce business. He states that ever since he has over 700,000 dollars in revenue. This profit, of course, has made him dedicate solely to being his own boss without having to follow a company’s schedule and answering to other people’s orders.
Travis claims that in the first six months of starting his company, the struggles presented allowed him to learn the essential secrets that took his business to success. So, after learning, he wanted to share his knowledge with the world and created his YouTube channel to help people leave their current jobs, make more money, and become their own bosses.
Marziani releases a new e-commerce video on his Youtube channel every Monday, to talk about the latest marketing trends. Then, on Tuesdays, he releases videos with tips and step by step tricks; and on Wednesdays, he answers questions from the public. These videos have been the most effective tool for him to engage people into signing up for his free lessons and eventually, buying the four courses that make up the Effective eCommerce package.
Travis currently has around 30,000 subscribers, and it doesn’t seem like he’s using bots or any help from fake apps to have that amount of followers, so I guess people do like him for a reason.
What is Included in Effective eCommerce?
This will be the longest part since we need to review all four courses, so let’s begin:
1. Google “Adwords” Course
In this course, which Travis should already update because the new Google Ads interface is different, he shows you how to set up Adwords.
The course has 7 modules which contain around five hours of material on how to set up product listings, finding converting and negative keywords, and remarketing display ads. As a bonus, Travis has included a 1-year membership to what he calls a “private mastermind”. Also, there is access to a free 30-minute coaching session and a premium checklist. What’s the catch? You need to be one of the first 100 buyers, and you won’t, trust me.
The Google Adwords course costs 147 dollars, so you might want to start writing down prices for the final sum.
2. Beginner Facebook Course
The name says it all, this is a Facebook course for beginners. There are seven modules here that contain around 5 hours of content. Again, Travis offers his buyers a one-on-one coaching consultation, but only if you are among his 25 first buyers and guess what? You won’t be either, this is just a sales technique.
The Facebook course has seven modules with the following topics:
- Setup: setting your Facebook page, pixel installing, creating a posting calendar.
- Targeting Your Audience – tips & tricks to build your brand and engaging the right audience.
- Styles of Ads – Choosing the best ads between lead, video, etc. Learning about conversion and rebranding.
- Tricks to creating an engaging Facebook Ad using split testing and power editor.
- Analysis – an overview of columns and metrics.
The information in these modules is very standard of what’s usually taught, and the interface seems very recent. Also, the data included can be applied regardless of the constant changes Facebook might go through.
The price to pay for this course is 197 dollars, which added to the Google course adds up to 344 dollars (I am already finding these courses expensive).
3. 25K Ecommerce Profit Plan
This is the course that allegedly shows the case study of Travis himself, and how he made his site go from zero to over 25,000 dollars a year. Now, I have seen some more ambitious claims from other Youtube e-commerce “coaches”, so at least Travis doesn’t inflate his numbers to unproportionate levels.
In the third course, you will see how Travis profited, but you will also learn how to set up “Adwords” SEO (again, this part needs an update), and other popular E-commerce strategies. Here are the ten modules included in the course:
- Introduction and overview of the course
- How to create and set up your store
- Basic tips for Search Engine Optimisation
- Advanced Store Optimisation
- How to take advantage of Social Media to drive traffic to your online store
- Off-page SEO, press releases, and backlinks
- Content Marketing
- Google Adwords (once more, this part needs updating)
- Product Listing Ads, which is now known as Google Shopping, and Travis has to update again
- How to get conversions
I will give Travis credit for showing one of his own stores, which is something most entrepreneurs don’t do, and also for showing some excerpts from this course on his website page to make it more attractive for those who have doubts about buying it. However, the material in this course isn’t innovative, and it looks more of the same, which to me doesn’t make it worth paying its price.
The price for this one is 197 dollars. Add it to the 344 dollars from the other two courses, and you would be spending 541 dollars to learn things you can get cheaper.
4. Passion Product Course
The last product is the Passion Product, which is apparently closed and only in Beta phase, even though when you click to buy it, it does take you to a checkout page to pay for it (this was weird).
The Passion Product course is aimed at whoever needs to learn how to sell their products on a Shopify store or Amazon FBA. You would start by doing a brainstorm for choosing the “winning” product; then you need to test your idea, choose the right suppliers and manufacturers, set up of the product, crowdfunding, and more.
There are two things that worry me about this course: The first one is the Beta phase. What happens if you pay for it? When will you receive the full content? Is it still under development? The second is the fact that there is no proof that Travis has any experience on this, is that the reason why the material isn’t fully there? It just seems shady.
This course is the most expensive out of the four. It costs 497 dollars, and if you decided to buy it in its Beta version, you would be spending over a thousand dollars for information that you would most likely be able to get for free somewhere else online
Personal Experience With Effective eCommerce
In case I haven’t stressed this enough, this package of courses is too expensive for the content. As soon as I saw that half of the content needs updating, and the other half is elementary content, I realised that you could find better options online.
Effective eCommerce Scam?
Nope, Effective eCommerce is not a scam however, there are definitely better courses out there you can get like eCom Elites.
Is there a Discount Code?
There is no discount/coupon for Travis Marziani’s Effective eCommerce course.
There are other sites claiming they either have Effective eCommerce Coupon or Effective eCommerce Discount but, this is definitely not true. Also, Effective eCommerce Nulled or Effective eCommerce Free is not a thing.
Effective ECommerce Final Verdict
In my honest opinion, this group of courses is not worth that much money. Plus, the material could easily be condensed into one long course instead of four, and of course, once more, it needs updating. To me, this compound is not an option for now.
Effective Ecommerce Alternative
Now I have personally bought a ton of dropshipping courses out there. I even review a lot of them on my blog. Generally, these gurus try to sell you a lifestyle of getting rich and successful that’s why they charge a ridiculous amount for the information they sell.
Their courses typically aren’t even comprehensive at all. They focus all their efforts trying to market their course so, they can make more money from course sales.
I do however think that dropshipping courses are worth it if they are good. They will save you a ton of time and hassle that’s why I highly recommend a solid dropshipping course.
I have been dropshipping for a long time and I have built profitable stores (I currently do affiliate marketing though) and I highly recommend you check out this course called eCom Elites. (I did a review on this, make sure you read it!)
It’s by Franklin Hatchett who has been doing dropshipping WAY before it was famous.
This course definitely has helped me increase my eCommerce income before. However, I don’t do dropshipping anymore because I am focused on affiliate marketing.
Now, this is not another expensive garbage guru course. It’s one of the best & most affordable dropshipping / eCommerce course out there.
